Today we stand with Dr. Aafia and the many political prisoners who have been detained, tortured and even murdered without legal sanction or due process. said Ms. Judith Bello We offer our deepest compassion and whatever support we can lend to these innocent victims of state terrorism and their families. Joe Lumbardo of UNAC said The case of Aafia Siddiqui is a horrific example of the complete destruction of a life, for reasons which are, at minimum, incomprehensible. We hope that Aafia will soon be returned to her country and her family, along with all the other people who disappeared, never to be embraced by their families again, during this long and terrible War of Terror. On our return we will raise Dr. Aafia's issue but we do need the cooperation of Pakistani people and leadership. Dr. Fowzia Siddiqui thanked the team of humanitarians for their support for Aafia, drone attacks and missing persons. She implored on the government and military leaders, the chief justice and DG ISI to please assist in getting Aafia and all the missing persons released. She said it is people like the UNAC and Codepink that are the Americans she has worked with and grown to respect. They are the majority. Most Americans are misinformed on Aafia's case but when they learn the truth they are as outraged as we are.Mrs Amina Janjua said that the families are suffering and her children have grown up without a father. Please end this war. Give our loved ones back.
