Ulema and nation appealedto say a special prayer for a long healthy life for Edhi
Karachi : Dr aafia's mother Ismat Siddiqui and sister Dr Fowzia Siddiqui expressed concern and grief over the news of. Edhi's kidney failure.
They prayed for his complete recovery.
They said Edhi dedicated his life to serving humanity and had offered himself instead of Aafia to the US. This gesture has touched their hearts deeply and have offered to donate a kidney to their National humanitarian Hero Abdus sattar Edhi.
They told reporters they will be meeting Mr. Edhi and Prof Adeeb Rizvi regarding the process. Aafia's mother said Edhi's life is precious to Pakistan had he is the person who turned individual humanitarian service into a collective industry.
Ismat Siddiqui and Dr Fowzia appealed to Ulema and the Nation to add a special prayer for Edhi during Friday prayers
