Imran Khan says he would raise strong voice for Aafia
Dr Fowzia Siddiqui inquires about health of PTI leader in Lahore hospital
Lahore, May 17: Aafia Movement Pakistan leader Dr Fowzia Siddiqui here on Friday visited Shaukat Khanam Hospital and inquired about health of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan.
On the occasion she prayed for early recovery of the PTI leader.
Imran Khan said that the illness and pain of just 10 days has made him thinking about the courage of Dr Aafia Siddiqui who have been suffering a lot for 10 years. He said he has always raised the issue of Aafia release. He said if Allah, the Almighty, has given him chance he would raise the issue on every avaiable forum. He hoped that Aafia would soon be released and rejoin her children and aged monther.
Imran Khan went emotional while talking about Aafia and his eyes were filled with tears. He said the duaghter of the nation has braved enough tramuas. He said now this dark night is about to end.
Dr Fowzia congritulated Imran Khan on her histroic win and wished him more successes in days to come.
Both leaders discussed the issues related to national scenario.
Imran Khan said his party would form a model government in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhuwa province. He said his party would continue to serve the nation and play its due role in streeing Pakistan clear of crises.
